“I think I have made a lot of progress during the summer internship. I have adopted a new way of thinking, and learned a lot about how to plan a sustainable project”, said Nikola, one of the Unity interns who joined the Webelinx Games team for the past four weeks.
During the summer internship, Tamara Milovanović, Nikola Sretković, and Luka Jakšić worked as a team. Each of them created gameplay from scratch and further developed it with the support of their mentors. In the end, their work was merged into one final product.
“I liked making the game within the team. So far, I have mostly worked independently on projects, so it was very interesting to see how games are made in teams and how the work of each member affects the work of the whole team”, Luka explains.
It’s been a pleasure to have these brilliant young people in the house! From the very start, we have organized internship programs with one goal in mind – to give talented students a chance to learn, as well as to explore and nurture their potential. Many of them became permanent parts of our team after completing the internship.
“We had all the freedom to propose and implement our ideas related to the project. I also liked that other team members from the office showed interest in our game. The atmosphere in the company is nice and friendly. As we had the opportunity to attend the company’s birthday party, where we had a chance to meet many Webelinx Games employees – they were all great!”, Tamara adds.
